What is a Seeds?

"Seeds are the source of life, and also symbols of a civilization. The loss of seed could also the signal the loss of self-pride, cultural identity and civilization of a nation."

Who We Are?

Mother nature provides the colors of diversity to us. In many parts of Indonesia, the effort to respect the diversity begins from seeds, fruits and vegetables for us to eat.
The labor that defends the colors of diversity is in the shape of Women.

Buckwheat (in Lamalohot/Adonara language it is called WATA BOLONG), corn, barley, sesame, black rice and other local rice are forms of food that grow based on nature’s selection and extreme weather, which is now considered as part of local adaptation.

We are a group of Women Peasant Leaders and individuals that work at local level, national and International who believe in diverse views, perspective, action and economic justice.

From this diversity, our purpose is to acknowledge every effort, action, knowledge and policies of all Women Peasant Leaders.
